CB&Q / BN Big Horn Sub UPDATE v3.1 Released

Colleagues,

An updated version of the CB&Q Big Horn Sub route is as of now available for download. Thanks Hawk for adding to the file library so lightning-fast! **!!bow!!**

What's new in version 3.1?

- extended scenery between Parkman and Ranchester (town and rural)
- more accurate speed limits on the entire route:
- 60 mph track speed, 45 mph around Kleenburn
- 25 mph through Parkman and Ranchester Sidings
- 10 mph through all other sidings
- 5 mph on elevator tracks
- lineside telegraph poles & wires from Parkman to Kleenburn
- new TimeOfDay blueprints with different seasonal sunrise and sunset times and got rid of white fog on distant-mountains

The next build will extend the line eastward (!) from Sheridan to the huge coal mine loadouts at Decker. Although not consistent with the backdated CB&Q theme of the route (the Decker mines started operations in the 70s), these are some huge mines and should provide for some great entertainment in a railworks route.

Cheers!
Michael

Michael,

I am trying your Coal Drag 1 scenario after installing the v3.1 update and have an error about missing the Destination30 marker. I assume this is due to changes between versions but wanted to make you aware.

Free Roams work just fine. Great work on the update!

Regards,
Trevor

Hi,

Thanks! This is strange, I did not edit any of the marker objects. *!question!*
Who knows what is going on, maybe it is because it was originally built on version two, long ago. I will do a completely new version which should fix everything!

Cheers!
Michael

Hello Michael,

The only route download in the library is BigHorn3, is this the same as version 3.1 please ??

EDIT: Panic over, I have found version 3.1, it was in the trainsim.com library, not on here....

Anyway, I've downloaded and installed it and my RW Tools informs me I am missing the streetlights in the assets folder GNRy, I don't have them at all, do I need to locate these from anywhere else please ??

Thanks very much for the route extension, some screenshots will pop up in the near future.... **!!bow!!**

Cheerz. ex-railwayman. !!*ok*!!
