ALASKA RAILROAD

Unread postby LukRailAmerica » Wed Dec 03, 2014 3:55 am

Hi everone,

Buzz456 and the Discovery Chanel inspired me with the Alaska Railroad.

So I decided to make some repaints.

Here are the GP40 ( VRC Model), the GP38 ( RSC )

Also upcoming are BritKits Rotary Snowplow and SW1500

All this Loco's will go into a mega pack with I will upload to Railworks America this week.

Ooooooh kudos to VRC if they help you make the first accurate representation of an ARR Geep since I last built a GP49 for MSTS back in the day.

Wow! Those units look great! I especially like the weathered/worn GP38!

DTM made the GP30 a number of years ago. It was pulled off the market while they update it. I believe it will be re released sometime next year. There is a thread on it here:http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=467

You have me confused with the thread title, this isn't about the new Alaskan freeware route recently released by the French Railsimmers, then????

No. His is a fictional route based on the ARR. It is very well done though. I have run a free roam on it.
