The new ATSF RS-1s are here.

A few notes: The locos were originally purchased as high horsepower switchers to make up and break up the Chiefs in Chicago. The special fitting above the coupler on the blacks was to keep the car diaphragms from tearing off the un-coupler bar linkage. These had the triple valve mounted in the cab. Once the SW1500s arrived, the RS-1s were repainted blue and yellow and used all over the system. The Hi-Vis stripes were tried to see if the locos were more visible. I'm guessing not, as 2398 was the only one so painted.

Many thanks to Mr. Grout for the special fittings and work for these ladies. *!!thnx!!*

They look great Mike. Especially loving the black / white high-visibility scheme!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the Hi-Vis RS1. I found that taking two aspirin before running it for more than 10 minutes keeps my headache to a minimum. *!lol!*

One problem, that applies to this repaint and some by other authors, is missing numbers on the cab side and number boards. Evidently the DTG mice have eaten a font!
Could you be so kind as to identify the file and its source so that I might fix the problem? This has not yet kept me awake at night, but I live in constant fear that it might.. !*hp*!

Thanks again,
JackD

If you install the ATSF-2, or replace the attached file, the issue will resolve. You will need to install the file in the numbers folder, and change the extension to .bin.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
