Can you make those shop lights a child object? I would like to use them in some of the building I am making.

I have not forgotten about you! I'm busy working on the trailers right now. I went to just save the single light fixture out of my model but apparently it fails to import into TS2012. Not sure what happens, I think it's because of the way I modeled a part that it doesn't like "open to the air" as it were... so I could make a few interior light fixtures that pull from a single texture file if that works? I can get that done as soon as I get my trailers out of the way.

I've updated my 53'ers with some minor parts and then built a 48'er version from that one. I've also slapped on a refrigerator unit to both trailer sizes. Now all that's left is to export my 53'ers with my current textures, create some more, and then create all the types for the 48'. And hopefully get my website completed! I'm going to be one busy turkey! *!greengrin!*

At the moment, I won't be doing the older style trailers but I may add that to my list.

No rush, I don't want you to burn out, and the project I want them for is taking second seat while I work on my own child objects (see viewtopic.php?p=37826#p37826).

Thank you very, very much, I've been looking for some more trailers for various American routes as scenery items, these are just the job. All I could do with now are a few more rigs to haul them, does anyone know if there are some Freightliner / Kenworth / Mack / Peterbilt tractors available anywhere please ??

First off love the trailers and the shop building. Is there anyway you can add tracks to the inspection pit bays? It takes me forever to get them lined up. I always lay out a straight piece then copy paste it but can never get the track and building lined up just right. Now on to the trailers I work for one of the motor freight companies that you have depicted in your trailer set. If someone would be so inclined I have tons of photos of motive power for these companies. I have Yellow, FedEx, UPS parcel/UPS freight (the former Overnite Transportation) Roadway and a mix of some general freight companies such as Swift JB Hunt and Schneider who are also represented in the game. I would also like to see a motor freight terminal building in the game as well. I have a few different pics of those since they are different than the UPS/DHL buildings already avaible for the game. We also need some 28' trailers most all of these are pretty much the same and UPS Yellow Fedex all run them the most of any trailer. If your interested please let me know.

@Shayfan1 - I wish I knew how to add track to my scenery object because I had a not-so-fun time lining up my track too. If you can provide front, side (maybe even both if you can) and rear shots of a trailer I can replace what I have and/or add some new ones. My models use a basic white truck and then I just added different logos so it's not 100% accurate. And if by any chance you can snap photos of the tractors, that would be a huuuge help.

I haven't gotten to it yet but in my personal route I'll be creating a large distribution center, inspired by UPS' Chicago Area Consolidation Hub (the primary reason I needed to make low poly trailers). I will also be doing other various smaller facilities. I'll see about doing some 28'ers down the road but can't promise anything at the moment.

And thanks everyone for the thank yous! I hope to bring on many more assets! !*salute*!

It would help in track laying, it we knew exactly how far apart the bays are. Can you go to your model and measure the distance between the track locations?

There is nothing wrong with with the low poly trailers at all. They look great up close or at a distance. Modeling the CACH property will be a huge undertaking that is one massive place. It would probably be easier for me to just PM or email you the links that way you can use what you want.

I didn't mean to confuse you with my comment, I def appreciated the kind words. :D I'm just a perfectionist and so not having access to actual photos of the trailers disappointed me when I was making them but if I can get some that would be wonderful. I'm only use the CACH building as inspiration for the size and probably design of the structure so I won't go overboard... at least, I'll try not to... *!greengrin!*

No confusion here just some postive re enforcement. I know a guy from another site whose father works at the CACH complex. I think he was in the railyard for a while because he has some awesome old TOFC photos and newer stuff as well. I could try to put you in touch with him when the time come's he may be able to provide some details for you. Also you may notice from the links I sent this equipment is very plain jane most everything is steel painted wheels shoot UPS'sssss trucks dont even have AM/FM radio's in them and up until a few yrs ago they didnt allow the truck manufacture to place id badges on the units. They believed in not advertising what equipment they were using. When I worked at Overnite our daycabs only came with a driver seat! talk about cheap.
