Are you using DXTBmp to convert from bmp to dds? It's a great tool.

Yep. Just can't figure out why the updated textures get changed.

I don't use bmp or dds...only ever work with and use .tga. When you add the alpha channel to your texture do you click on save to alpha channel after doing so..?
