The units are uploaded. All should be squared away for bob so it shouldn't be too long.

Which one? The 1st set of textures should replace the default. The 2nd one is a repaint, and you need to copy over the geo files for it to work.

Follow the instructions. You will need to copy the geo files to the appropriate places.

I am sorry but the instruction are not quite clear to me.
Installing this addon is pretty simple to install
Step 1: If the Locomotive is in a .ap file, you must extract the .ap files contents into the folder the .ap file was located, then
delete the .ap file
Step 2: Drag the Assets folder included in this archive into the main railworks folder (/steamapps/common/railworks)
Step 3: Copy SD60M_Cab.GeoPcDx From Assets/RSC/SD60MPack01/RailVehicles/Diesel/Cabview Into RailVehicles/Diesel2/Cabview
Step 4: Copy Both Driver01.GeoPcDx and Driver02.GeoPcDx From RailVehicles/Diesel/Driver into RailVehicles/Diesel2/Driver
Step 5: Copy SD60M_UP.GeoPcDx From RailVehicles/Diesel/Engine To RailVehicles/Diesel2/Engine
:Repeat Steps 3,4 and 5 for the other paints:

What is missing is do you make a Folder for this addition for example (steamapps/commom/railworks ????? What Folder a new one or what?

there is a folder in the zip file labled assets
you drag that straight into the main railworks folder. if it asks to replace. replace. then you need to copy the .geos that are listed from each place and paste them into the repaints.

DPhorton:

Go to your railworks/assets/rsc/SD60Mpack01 folder

If there is a file there with a .ap extension (SD60mpac01assets.ap ?) right click on that file and using 7zip or WinZip choose to 'extract here'

This should populate the folder you are in with several folders, including a folder titled 'Railvehicles'. The instructions Zack posted are pretty succinct after that.

If you're still having trouble, post here and I will repost these instructions with some visual aids here tonight.

you're right boosted. for some first time installers of repaints might not know that you have to unpack the files. oops

Don't you also have to make the files read/write, that's why I use RW Tools to unpack my .AP files, and it does that function automatically for you.

I've never had to do that with any of the .ap files I've extracted with 7zip. I beta tested this pack, and installed as described above.

Steve,
You only need to make them read write if you are going to make a change to them otherwise it doesn't matter.
