I am pretty happy with the general appearance of the weather now. I believe I have most situations depicting believable weather.

My next project will be writing custom weather themes based off real weather conditions. I should be able to use METAR reports from locations close to each route to create a custom SL_ weather theme to be applied to quick drives.

That's the dream. I can already kind of do it but it is a manual process. The SL_ files are very easy to edit and make new weather combinations with unique cloud layers and visibility, but to do it automatically would be the trick.

I like the rain now, it's much better, this is on a German route, but, you can see it sweeping across the screen if you move your mouse quick enough to catch it right, lovely stuff, a greatly improved weather mod, thank you very much.

Have you passed this modification information on to the Brits and European RailSimmers, I'm sure this would be appreciated by the wider community??

I don't have any screenshots but I ran the workshop scenario "Once a Rival" and changed the default stormy weather to Alpenfreight's mod stormy weather.

I don't recall ever hearing the rain before, it was really cool.

"Visuals so good you'll hear them" <<<

I can't claim to have added any sound effects but I'm glad you enjoy the mod!

I'm really excited for some of my future plans! Static weather presets are fun, but realistic weather themes every time you load the sim would be even better!

Impressive the improvement of the environment in this train simulator.
The colors at summer 10 am so clear and warm. The amount of drops from rain. By only looking at that rain I could get pretty wet. The beautiful snowy landscapes. Ouch!
Congratulations Alpenfreight and thank you. You made my day! !*YAAA*! !!jabber!!
