It's good to learn editing - and rewarding - but no need to worry about it here. I think Rick intends to tidy up any loose ends once we can confirm that his new update (0.2.2) is stable and functioning without the turntable, elevation and broken switch issues that have been apparent . . . and that seems to be the case.

Yes, agreed with the 32-bit for editing. In fact Rick has already said that some of the earlier problems came about because he did the edits in 64-bit and wasn't aware of changes happening nowhere near where he was actually making edits.

I appear to have to do a Weld on Rigby Track 3. Why I don't know. I watched several Videos but the little Gray Box never shows up. !*don-know!* Time to watch some more. !DUH!

If the gray box doesn't show up, then "weld" is not the fix. Maybe incorrect alignment between sections of track.

A "weld" is appropriate when you see a fine red-lined box looking like a soccer goalpost over the join between two sections (as opposed to a red triagnle which means the join is good). (those are visible when you have clicked on the track icon at the top to show you are reviewing track or other loft items)

Sorry folks, I found another "weld" spot. This is at the south end of Rigby yard on "western approach 2".

I'm working through the BLXT scenarios (see ChrisOnline above) and I have found another weld spot. It is the Rigby 75 side of the sand tower on Diesel Fuel 1 track at Rigby. Easily remedied.

Well, the track is all there, I assure you! Just reload, or close TS and restart. Sometimes a scenario can stop short of fully loading all assets

Just asking and that is all. Has everything been resolved so we might get an update. Please don't Flame me for asking.

Absolutely Outstanding Effort on the Route! What a quality job on the scenery models and the terrain editing! It really captures the flavor of the route setting! The locomotives and rolling stock were a surprise bonus and they are all quality work!

You took the time to respond to my (and the countless others) inquiries about the Portland route. I know such things can get tiresome after awhile so thank you for responding in a gracious manner.

As far a the little bugs and errors that might appear on this route, to me it is no big deal. No matter how thorough you are on testing the scenarios and the overall route some errors will always occur. It's just a simple matter to got into World Editor and adjust or fix the things you know how to or in the case of something you are not familiar with, post it on the forum and ask for help.

As far as the "Running Low on Fuel" scenario I have successfully completed the scenario, received the check mark, gold star etc., etc.. All I did to make the scenario work correctly was edit the Drivers Instructions List. I selected the type of train from "Special" to "Standard". I eliminated the "Stop At" command for Rigby 101 as it is redundant. Then I selected the "Final Destination" and re-entered the Rigby 101 as the final stop. Ran the scenario and it worked like it should.

Just something screwy with the original scenario instructions. Easy fix.

And because you give so much to this community I always vote with my wallet to support your payware items. *!!thnx!!*

Hey there sports fans,

Ran into a interesting problem with Switching 6: East Deering. The cement cars will not load at Dragon Cement.

Thought it was the GX_CementHoppers. So I checked the bin and monkeyed around with the Transfer Direction line. Tried it again using the same cars and GX_CementHopper (loader) on a simple 1 track route where I test things. Could have sworn it worked. But when I went into Maine Maritime it still didn't work.

Switched the two Hopper 2-Bay Cement White (the UP car) for a couple of Hopper 2-Bay Brown and tried again. Still won't load.

So I then experimented with a Hopper 3-Bay Cement Blue and a Hopper 3-Bay Cement Black. The GX_CementHopper (loader) worked no problems.

I do not know why the loader will not work with the Hopper 2-Bay Cement but I am going to speculate it has to do with the volume the loader delivers. It is probably to much for the Hopper 2-Bay Cement so it will not trigger the loader as it is considered the wrong car.

So if you want to run Switching 6: East Deering you will have to go into Editor and place two Hopper 3-Bay Cement White on the track next to the consist. Then change the car numbers on the two Hopper 3-Bay Cement White so one reads 218944 and the other 218751. These numbers match the two Hopper 2-Bay Cement White (UP Cars) that you are going to replace. Drag the two Hopper 2-Bay Cement White (UP Cars) out of the consist and place in the same spot the two Hopper 3-Bay Cement White cars. Now the Driving Instructions has the two cars to match the numbers it has already assigned to it. Plus if you placed them properly the consist is in the correct order. If you don't do the re-numbering steps the scenario will error out because it is missing the two car numbers originally indicated.

Had a go at MM and its lovely! The yards, the city, the industry - amazing.

I did have an issue w the 1st scenario where you start the tour, soon as i passed the cemetery and got near the bridge my powerunits decoupled. I back up to re-engage and the other power unit and cars sling-shot towards me and derailed.
Only issue ive had so far

Cant wait to dig back in. The geep liveries are great as well as the little switcher. Then theres the cars. My god, no 2 are alike.

Love it !!*ok*!!

Fantastic route with some 'thinking' scenarios!

But I am also having the turntable problem in the Track Improvements scenario.

I cannot find the patches etc mentioned, only 0.2.1 here on RWA. Do the patches solve the problem?

I am completely hopeless at editing things so if there is no easy patch available, I will just skip this scenario.

The patch on RWA sorts out the turntable and a couple of other small problems. It’s a great route.

Thanks John.

I do have patch 02.1. installed but unfortunately the turntable still derails the train.

Cheers, Mark
