3DTrains: World Landscapes

Post your finished add-on release announcements here!

More trees added...

Unread postby Bananarama » Mon Aug 06, 2012 9:15 pm

I added the following trees to both packages:

  • Ponderosa Pine (2)
  • Slash Pine
  • Subalpine Fir (6)
  • Western Red Cedar
  • White Spruce (4)
  • Yellow Cypress (4)

These are some big trees, and will look great on any route set in the Pacific Northwest. Freeware users must download the whole shebang again, as the overall file size is relatively small. Those who own the payware set, however, can download the update only if they wish, as the main file has climbed another 45Mb. *!embar*!
Cheers!

I cobbled together a small scene with the new tree update - please don't shoot me if it doesn't look right:

It does remind me of a time I was up in the back country of Yosemite.

I couldn't find Bald Cypress for the Swamp on the list, is it included?

No Bald Cypress. There's a complete list of the trees in the freeware download post at 3DTrains.
