Excellent looking models that capture the "spirit" of the era!

Slightly off topic: Its been 46 years ago. I was 12 at the time but, I still remember the enthusiasm for the event in 1976 and the year leading up to it. It was heavily promoted in school and community with just about everything advertised with some bicentennial tie in. I'm afraid that is lost on us today. No, I'm not trying to start a big political discussion, merely lamenting the loss of a more innocent and interesting time for my own kids and I hope someday grandkids who will be around for 300! I can't believe 250 is around the corner. A good analyst would probably say I do Train Simulator trying to recapture my 1970's memories.

I have had requests (even demands) for the CNW repaints, used in some of the scenarios for the route, to be made available. To be clear I did state above that they were for my own usage and I hadn't published because some of them are repaints for freight cars that while similar to CNW cars they were not examples owned by CNW. However in order "to keep the peace" here is a Dropbox link but be warned it's a big file (which is why I don't plan to put them into the library).

I've a good memory for whatever I can remember!
If you wait for perfection you will never do anything but it doesn’t stop you wanting it.
Age doesn’t stop you, it just slows you down.
If you only learn one thing in life - learn to think how your actions and words affect others BEFORE doing or saying.
