Excellent looking models that capture the "spirit" of the era!
Slightly off topic: Its been 46 years ago. I was 12 at the time but, I still remember the enthusiasm for the event in 1976 and the year leading up to it. It was heavily promoted in school and community with just about everything advertised with some bicentennial tie in. I'm afraid that is lost on us today. No, I'm not trying to start a big political discussion, merely lamenting the loss of a more innocent and interesting time for my own kids and I hope someday grandkids who will be around for 300! I can't believe 250 is around the corner. A good analyst would probably say I do Train Simulator trying to recapture my 1970's memories.
