As in just the standard RW folder?
Was getting a bit confused as theres just one bat file in the downloaded files

When i look in the RW folder i see a "setup_audio" batch file and an "luac" batch file (realize these aren't likely it, edited post at bottom)

Just confused via the dash9 instructions dont mention it, only
mentions the bat in the asset folder within... as if one should already know a step not mentioned

Edit : i find the batch files in RW>assets and click them w the same results, just a blink

Its funny bc i got an LNER reskin pack for the HST and Class91 which also has a batch file to run and it works. Stumped

Just a point, the BNSF Dash 9 pack is only available in the USA, could that be the problem?

Ive got the pack, im in the states.

And if this helps, while in the editor i can see the 3 variations of dash9s in the engine flyout, but they wont appear on track, only the couplers

It's because you're either missing the main engine or the cabview GeoPcDx file (as in the batch file did not work and did not copy the geos from the "Default" folder).

It loaded fine here so it's something on his end.

Same here as well. Must be the people not looking to run the .bat file that is inside the assets folder...

Peculiar. Are you sure you dragged the asset folder from the zip directly to your main railworks folder?

The simulation blueprint is definitely correct. I double checked everything.

I'm not sure why this is happening. We've had multiple reports of the batch file not working (when realistically, it does). I can't believe I'm saying this - but are you running it in the archive or out of the archive? If it's inside the archive, nothing will happen. If the files aren't copying over, there's definitely missing files. When we made the pack, both of us reinstalled the Dash 9 to verify that nothing was modified. Essentially, the pack was built on vanilla. There aren't any hidden instructions as far as I'm aware. Every time I write up the batch file, I always copy the folders that it will copy out of. That's how I did it with the CSX SD40-2s, and that's how it was done with the Dash 9s.

There's nothing I can do as far as fixing. Maybe redownload the pack and reinstall. If you drop an email at trurailsimulations@gmail.com or message us on Facebook (this way is probably better), I think I'll be able to diagnose the issue. I've got a very strong feeling it's related to missing files.

I can believe. If I had a dollar for every time this happened!
Windows Explorer provides a nice interface for exploring zip files, but interface lie!

Alright so i think i unzipped and placed on desktop, ill try dragging the assets directly from 7z into RW folder

Im not 100% on what in and out of archives means as well

I extract the downloaded files to the desktop and go from there

Assets to RW, the copy over, do it twice to check and it replaces as should

Then ran the the batch from in the folder and also dragged to desktop and tried to run as well

Any idea as to what files could be missing? I did get the dash9 pack last week - so its def installed correctly as well

Ill delete and reinstall from scratch

The bat files go here in the assets folder. You will see them at the bottom
