Long Island RR M1/M3

After releasing the Metro-North M1A/M3As, I immediately chose the LIRR version for my next repaint. There are a few discrepancies because it is an M2, such as the single headlight at the top of the bulkhead instead of two headlights. Anyways, here is the link to the google drive file, and I hope you all have fun with it on the little bit of LIRR trackage in NYNH.

Installation instructions:

1. Unzip the Contents of "Long_Island_RR_M1_M3.zip" to an easily accesible place.

2. Drop the Assets folder into your main Railworks folder usually found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks

2a. Unpack the M2Pack01Assets.ap file using either WinRar or 7zip.

3. Copy the M2_B.GeoPcDx from [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\Default\Engine]

4. Paste it in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M1\Engine]

4a. Paste the same file (M2_B.GeoPcDx) into [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M3\Engine]

4b. Also paste the same file (M2_B.GeoPcDx) into [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M1_old\Engine]

5. Copy the cabview .GeoPcDx file (M2_CAB) from [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\Default\CabView]

6. Paste in in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M1\CabView]

6a. Also paste it in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M1\CabView]

6b. Finally paste it in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\M2Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\MetroNorth\LIRR_M1_old\CabView]

And you're done!

Great work, while it may be off a bit it’s as close as we can get now. Isn’t “ Long Island M1 B TR_nd” supposed to be “ Long Island RR M1 B TR_nd”? Something seemed off with the naming
