CSX Containers

Hi y'all -

I'm new to this forum and enjoy reading your posts. I could use some advice as to a problem I'm having with a package.

I'm trying to load the CSX container freeware (from harryadkins - EDIT; and madmike 1024). I have the required G-Trax Double-Stack Container pack (by Rick Grout) loaded and working correctly on my TS2013. However, the CSX software does not appear on the browser tab flyout. The properties tab does have the G-Trax "Trains" option checked.

I little investigating shows that the enclosed RW_AssetSetup app (from the CSX pack) loads the software into Railworks\Assets\G-Trax\Trains\RailNetwork\Interactive, whereas the Double-Stack software (from harryadkins) is in ...\G-Trax\Trains\RailVehicles\Freight\DoubleStack.

Maybe I don't understand the RailNetwork funtions as well as I should? Any help would be appreciated... !**conf**!

Make sure you have G-Trax clicked in your scenario editor.

Hi Blue Light -

G-Trax itself does not have a check box in the scenario editor properties flyout - but G-Trax has a check box called trains. And that is checked.

If I uncheck Trains then I lose the regular G-Trax Double-Stack items on the browser flyout. So I leave it checked.

Any other thoughts? Thx

Found the issue.

It turns out that the CSX file over writes the existing G-Trax DoubleStack file GX-DblStk-Husky48-DTTX04 but does not rename it. This file was originally two white containers, but are now two CSX containers. So all scenarios that had the old DTTX04 in white have changed.

In other words the GX-DblStk-Husky48-DTTX04 is no longer two white containers if you load the CSX Containers freeware add on.

Perhaps that info could be added to the download description.

Perhaps the CSX repaint should be removed so that the files can be corrected and then reposted.
