Armstrong Powerhouse (AP) Voyager Sounds

I took advantage of the recent AP sale to finally purchase some of the replacement traction sound packs. The loco ones took without any problem and are superb, but I've had nothing but trouble with the set designed to replace sounds on the Just Trains Class 220/221 Voyager pack. The Voyager is installed with all the relevant updates and works correctly, but once the AP soundpack is applied there is no response to moving the controls and it cannot be moved (except where the train starts on a hill as even with with brakes applied it rolls backwards).

A message to AP Support has thus far gone unanswered so wondered if anyone else from the UK scene joining us here has encountered this, or knows of a solution.
