Notice that RW is telling me where the error has occurred. However, those coordinance place me right on top of my lead engine

Now this one is new to me. So I went and emptied the cashe. Then went to steam and verified my cashe where 157 file were downloaded.
Return to the game and tried to run scenario and got the same message that appears in the first photo.
I am very frustrated and do not want to start this one from scratch. Any advice?

Debug time!
Clone your scenario and start trying changes.
For example, for some reason a "missing marker" error is often caused by a problem in the consist, such as duplicate car numbers, etc. Check the consist. Delete the cars and add them again. Proceed by eleimination until you find the bug.

Found errant railcars 20 miles down the track that were not deleted after making a marker. The scenario works and all is well in virtual railroad land.
Thanks for the advice.

I'm getting this error now too. Can there be duplicate car numbers but in different consists? Also, is it OK to have the same number on the locomotive and tender? I wonder if that's causing my problems.

It's certainly OK to have the same number on the loco and tender.

Yeah, I changed them to different numbers and it didn't help. I found a duplicate number in one consist and changed that too but I still get the error. !*don-know!*

I'm not sure what to do next. For some reason, RW Tools won't list the rolling stock with numbers. I click the box but get a blank window in return.

I'll do some more digging today. It worked fine in 2013.

OK, I figured out that the RW Tools report had several blank cells at the top and I had to scroll down to see the good stuff! I found some more duplicates and I remembered I had to change the instructions in the scenario to match my changes. !DUH!

I'll stop talking to myself now. !!jabber!!
