Troubleshooting Horseshoe curve scenarios

Hi All,
I have been making scenarios for this route over the last couple of weeks and have struck a peculiarity with my east bound runs from Johnstown to Altoona. The problem lays with the east bound freight track at NY No1 Ewd Frtswitch. If I set the path through this switch my driver train derails. If I set east bound AI through the switch it comes to a halt and then concertina's itself with a subsequent scenario failure. To get around this, I route my east bounds along the passenger line and via NY No2 Ewd Psgr switch and things are fine. I'm not sure of I am using the right tracks on the eastbound run but going by the set of the signals and track marker names, I presume I am using the right track. I was wondering if this is documented or whether any one else is having this problem. Thanks for any advice....Rob

If you are talking about the section at Portage the track is broken closest to the Portage sidings. You can install the fix I uploaded to the file library and be sure in the description of the scenario to tell people they need the fix as well or avoid that track at Portage all together The fix is at: http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/accessories?view=document&id=1009:hsc-track-fix&catid=24:accessories

On the same topic, I also have a problem with Horseshoe Curve at Woodvale.
Maybe similar situation?

Playing one of the RS11 scenarios, I'm stuck at a strange switch configuration.
As you can see in the first picture below, the switch in front of the engine has no clickable blue dot.
In game, there is a remote-controlled switch motor on that switch.
There is however a clickable dot (circled in red on the picture) on the next track, where there is no switch. In game, there is indeed a manual switch stand at that location.

I'm stuck because I can't throw the switch manually. Instead, it gets thrown back-and-forth continuously by the dispatcher, as shown on this next picture:

Does anyone else have this strange switch at Woodvale?
Is there a patch for this one?
