Got a question about train maker. I know it doesn't make sense about but, is there anyway I could build a train and save it into the list? Not sure what you call the 2nd list I the editor if you know what I'm talking about.

Yes consist with 1 or 2 lead locos if that's possible. I would like to try to save the custom made consist, save it and load to any route of my choice.

There is a save consist button in the top flyout if I remember correctly. It has the front of locomotive and a small arrow next to it.

Thanks Bob! I'll keep this a future reference. Now i'm not sure if it can be shared with others cause I'm thinking to do some operating sessions probably to use downloads for already made consist. Except engines because I don't have all the dlc engines. Can be used for other engines people can choose.

I have no idea what you just said, everything after future reference is a blur. What exactly are you trying to do? Type slowly.

Sorry for not responding. I just got home yesterday.
I am going to try to make a custom consist in the editor for Train Simulator 2014 operating session. I want to build a train for them so they don't have to do it themselves, by providing a download. I don't have all the diesel dlc's so they will add their payware locomotives on those consist they'll choose. Consist will be anywhere on the siding, or the yards such as auto racks, coals, intermodel, tanks, passengers or manifest. Hook up the locomotives and they're good to go!
You understand my engish now?

Wait wait, I think I do. "They" are the other participants to the operating sessions.
So he wants to makes consists of cars, save them and send them to other participants.
Then those people could import these files into RW and use the consists in the Scenario Editor.

Oh OK I understand now. However that is not possible. All consists for all routes are in one file. Give someone your consist file would probably SBHH "them".

CSX, I think the easiest method for helping other players to prepare for your operating sessions would be to distribute scenarios. These would include consists, and everyone would have the same parameters (time of day, weather, scenario destination markers, etc).

It's not that hard to make up a consist. When I was with VORA, each driver was given the details of what consist to assemble. Also start time (same for everyone), destination and task(s). I needed a little help the first time from another member at VORA, but it's easy once you do it.
Just tell them the type, size (length), and motive power. Let them do it. Works out for everyone. Saves you time (like Chacal said, create the scenarios) and lets them do a little learning.

Please read:
http://www.christrains.com/ts_faq_quickdrive.htmlYou can create a consist and leave it routeless. You can also create one bound to a route.

Alright I guess I can go with that. I was too a vora member.
