Problems with Cekerr's steamers

I recently downloaded the MCSA 1920s route and the train robbery scenario. Having swapped out the missing (by which I mean payware) stock, I loaded up the scenario only to be met with:
ERROR: (145): end tag mismatch after character value
FILE: ../API\core/cFxException.h
LINE:113
I then decided to load up a freeroam with the 4-4-0 and the 2-8-0 (both by Cekerr) and clicking on either gives me an SBHH.
Can someone help me solve the problem?

Since you said you swapped out consists, I presume you used RWTools. If not, get that and do a check on the route and scenario.

Scenario reports no problems.
Can anyone tell me how to check the locos and tenders for bugs?

I'm not answering your question directly but that error message is almost always some file out of place. Try taking one out and see if it works then.

It turns out the problem is in fact caused by the 1890s parlor car. Namely, missing couplers.

My copies of Cekerr's 4-4-0 and 2-8-0 locos have no Bell Sounds. Is there any way to add a bell as a child to the Audio?
Also, the Loco and the Tender numbers do not match. How can I get them to coincide?
