Files showing up as PDF files

Unread postby LandN » Sat Jun 08, 2013 11:40 am

Ever since I acquired my new computer with Windows 7 on it, some of my D/Ls have shown up as PDF files. Anybody know a way I can convert them to something I can install?

I just D/Led the UP AC6000CW from this site. When I tried to open it I got the following message "Adobe reader could not open 'AC6000CW UP.rar' because it is either not a supported file type or because that file has been damaged (for example it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)"

You can seeing that because somehow on your machine the file extension RAR is associated with the application Adobe Reader.

If you have 7-zip installed (freeware) when you right click on the rar file you should see an option to open using it (usually to a folder using the rar's name).

Thanks PapaExpress. Now I need to know which Scale Rails I need for this route. I thought I had all of them installed.
