Mapping Question for Repainters

Hi;

I installed the BN repaint (TS2012) of Dick Cowen's SW1200. This is a nice unit and looks great. I have one question regarding how to mask out the numbers that on Dick's units go on the Head and trailing lights. On the BN unit these numbers should be eliminated. However on the repaint model they show up as white blank marks instead on being the same background color. I have tried to see if I can understand the number mapping to see if I can change this, but have not been unsuccessful.

See picture for clarification on what I am talking about.

Any help would be appreciated. Gerry

Hello Gerry,

BN185 does have the numberboards active, as does the NW2. I'm not sure if I filled out the number set or not, I may not have. The trick is to mask off the body number in the set, leaving the numberboard characters active.

I believe that the repaint you have is from GreatNortherner, and he made the default number a 2 character value which blanks off both the body and numberboard.
