GTW Autoracks

Unread postby JohnM1945 » Thu May 30, 2013 12:38 pm

Gentlemen, Ladies,

This is probably a 'daft Wally' question...

I can't find the 'gtw' and 'gtw1' autoracks for Donald Breese's Mojave Subdivision scenario. Can anyone help?

Kind regards,

John M

Page 2 of the rolling stock re-paints. It's titled autoracks BNSF, GT, and blank.

Hmmm...

Hi, buzz456!

Thanks for the quick response! However...

I had spotted, and loaded, that file before. So, feeling even more of a Wally, I downloaded it again, and installed it again. And...

It does what it says on the tin! (Does that remark survive the transatlantic crossing?) What I mean is that it provides what it promises: two BN variants, one 'blank' and one 'GT'. Total 4. No 'GTW', no 'GTW1'. And the GT uses a default .bin file. Which the GTW and GTW1 don't, each having its own custom variant.

So I'm grateful for the help but I'm still confused. (My wife confirms this...)

Obviously, with a little work in RW_Tools, I can swap the missing variants out and enjoy a new scenario on a new (for me) route ... but I suppose I have an auditor's mind. Have I missed something?

Kind regards,

John

I believe it's my repaint set that you are looking for, but I do not remember naming them 'gtw'. If so, then I used clones of JessieJames autorack repaints on digirails forums. Hope that helps!

We can only hope the scenario writer sees this. I sure don't know what he is referring to here. I cannot find anything like this.

Most likely the items in question came from Smitty's Locomotive Shed. Sadly, Smitty's site is no longer available. Any and all rolling stock can be replaced using RW Tools.
