Automatic Follow of an AI Train?

Unread postby Accurate » Mon May 20, 2013 1:40 pm

Awhile ago I used to be able to follow (attach view to) an AI train. I thought it was CTRL and click on the engine. Does not seem to work anymore???

There used to be a launch option for that, I don't know if it still works.

It is a launch option that you add in the Steam client.

From the Steam Libraries page go to TS2013 properties (Rt Click on TS2013).
Select Launch Option and enter the option

The trick is that you need to hold down the CTRL key when selecting the AI engine you want to attach to/follow.
Sometimes it is tricky to hit the "spot" on the engine that allows the selection.

It does work and is interesting if you have created any AI for your route.
