Cannot edit scenarios on Castle Rock Route

Hello;
I am trying to edit an existing scenario on the Castle Rock Route. The route indicates it is locked, but I should be able to unlock it be going into the scenario editor. The only issue is none of the default scenarios will open in the scenario editor. The scenario editor is grayed out. I can clone an existing scenario, but even then it will not allow me to go into the scenario editor with the newly cloned scenario. I can clone the route and it will open in the world editor, but it is not the route I want to edit.
I had no problems with editing scenarios in Cajon Pass, but Castle Rock for some reason is not allowing the scenario editor to be available?
Is this being seen by others? Is Castle Rock route not able to edit at all?
Regards, Gerry

It is usually editable as soon as you unlock it.

I guess I wasn't clear. The edit buttons are grayed out. Railworks will not let me go into edit mode on the Castle Rock route or edit mode on any of the scenarios. All the scenarios seemed to be locked out as well. Cntl-E did not work. I cannot go into edit mode on Castle Rock Route or any of the Castle Rock Scenarios.
Here are the steps taken.
Start Railworks.
Main Menu click Editors
Select Castle Rock and click on scenario editor
Pick any Castle Rock scenario
Cannot click edit scenario (grayed out), it is not available for any of the scenarios.
This is only happening on the Castle Rock route.
Gerry
Edit note....I am seeing this on Horseshoe Curve as well. The scenario editor is not available for any of the HSC scenarios.

Hi all; I was able to unlock Castle Rock by editing the route properties.xml file changing the bool lock setting from 1 (locked) to 0 (unlocked).
After changing the one setting in the properties.xml file for Castle Rock route I can now edit away.

This is the standard way to unlock a route, using Castle Rock as an example:
1) Launch RW.
2) Select Castle Rock and launch any scenario.
3) Once the scenario opens, press the <ESC> key.
4) Select World Editor.
5) Click on the closed padlock symbol near the lower-right corner. It will change to an open padlock. Choose "yes" in the dialog box that pops up.
6) Click on the big arrowhead symbol in the lower-right corner and choose "yes" button in the dialog box that appears, to save the route.
7) When the scenario re-opens, press <ESC> again and exit. The route is now unlocked and its standard and free-roam scenarios may be edited.
In earlier versions of RW, almost all routes were locked by default. In the current version, only a few remain locked and most new DLC routes come unlocked by default. I have asked RSC to unlock all routes by default and they replied that this is a good idea and they would think about it. Evidently, they're still thinking. Perhaps if more of us politely asked that all routes be unlocked by default, their thought process would accelerate?
Remember that verifying the cache will return all routes to their default locking status. What an nuisance!
Postscript: I walked through this process to be sure my description was correct, but first I had to hunt for Castle Rock, which did not appear in the opening list.

This may work, but there's the risk of making an error while editing the XML file. Using the standard procedure is safer.
