Acela Express incorrect

Hi guys. I've been looking around and I found a video the other day that made me notice an issue with the Acela's design in RW. They're using the cruise control lever for the dynamic brake controller when the Acela has a combined dynamic brake/air brake controller. In this video you'll note the drive say "This is the cruise control." I've also seen the History Channel's show 'Extreme Trains' and noted that the drive was infact moving the throttle while moving the lever beside it at the same time, which is what makes me suspect RSC has the design wrong. It would be impossible to be in dynamic braking and to have the throttle applied at the same time, right? Therefore it must be incorrect.

Well since no one has replied here I'm assuming that no one cares. Whatever, then. *!rolleyes!*

Theres a few things that RSC got wrong with the Acela. The Cab signaling is Half-assed, The power cars tilt and the real ones dont due to the Pans needing to always be in contact with the wire( in europe, they can tilt since the cantenary is lower), theres no Alerter and they have the order(and direction) of the cars wrong. It may not be that no one cares but more the fact that RSC will most likely NEVER fix it.

Has anyone told RSC? Complaining about it here will not ever get it fixed.

RSC has been notified about other issues like scenario-ending bugs and XBOX controller issues and well, still waiting for those to be fixed. I myself have contacted them repeated times about some of these issues-along with others-and still nothing from them.
I would personally rather have the bugs fixed first than some of the prototypical issues.

I just wish they would give US Passenger content the same effort that they do with the European stuff. I also hope that eventually they'll re-do the Acela and finish the route to Boston. I guess that's out of the question though. I hate to complain, but I'm tired of all of the freight stuff in the US. We need a passenger route, a modern one. They could do Metro North's route or Amtrak's Empire corridor or even the Midwestern higher-speed route from Chicago to Detroit. There are infinite possibilities yet all they want to create is freight. RSC, it's time you did something for the passenger fans for once. I'm sick of UP and BNSF right now. Don't get me wrong, I love Marias Pass and the ES44DC, but I feel like there is a huge imbalance of the passenger to freight content here. We don't even have the P42DC anymore. This is just sad! *!sad!*

I still ha p42dc. Don't think they remove from your hd. If they took it off then that would be so wrong.

I still have it, too. For others they're just sol and that's not really fair.

You can do a AMTRAK run on Marias Pass. All of the stations are there. I have done it already. Passenger loading and the whole thing.

I do this as well. The speed limits are what's annoying though. Only about 50-60minutes of the route is in >50mph running. The rest of the route is just creeping along below 40. That's why I'd like to see the Midwestern corridor created. You can do 110mph for 80 miles of the 100 miles length of the upgraded section in Michigan. That's a lot of fast running in comparison. I like to drive the P42DC at speed most of the time, so I tend to only drive in or on routes that allow it.
