Does your SD70 have a flashing black triangle ??

Unread postby fecrails » Mon Apr 01, 2013 6:28 pm

I never noticed this before, but I'm working on a reskin of the SD70M-2 and there is a large black triangular shape on the model that should not be there. At first I thought it might have to do with the texture file I painted, but checking the stock NS and CN units shows the same issue. It is not as noticable on the stock units because they are black, but my repaint has bright yellow which makes the flaw very noticeable. As you pan the camera view the shape appears to flash on and off. I attached a screenshot of where the shape is located on the model. Has anyone else noticed this? I suspect it's an issue with the 3d model shapes.

!*don-know!*

It is, it's been there since the beginning and it HAS been reported to RSC various times

Not that I've noticed. But they DO crash through the ground.

Thanks for the reply. With a little bit more investigation in to this I've found that the problem seems to only show up in strong directional lighting, such as early and late direct sunlight. It's not a big deal to me, I just wanted to verify it is the model and not an issue with my video card/driver.
