Nobody's perfect

Although I'm still extremely impressed by Keith Ross's work on the Western Lines of Scotland route, it does contain a few glitches.

For example, Mr. Ross joins the great majority of route creators who have no idea about correctly placing container loaders. The loaders used in this route are of the swing-arm type, which should be placed far enough from the track to avoid this "whoops, sorry about your damaged "wagon" phenomenon:

My trigger finger isn't fast enough to capture another visual oddity: the crate swung too high or too low that magically springs into the proper place as loading concludes.

So far, though, my favorite visual oddity comes from this water spout in the Dumfries yard area:

Try aligning your tender with that!

On the other hand, some of the super-elevation along this route is truly breathtaking:

And Keith deserves numerous rounds of applause for finally making the elusive brakeman visible:

Overall, far fewer glitches than on most payware routes balanced by large helpings of creativity. For my money, this is the best DLC route to date and I look forward to this creator's future work.
