Coupling Sounds

When I couple and uncouple engines from their cars the sound of the coupling/uncoupling happens sporadically. I never hear the sounds 100% of the time. Does anyone else notice this?

I use that "fly" cam (F8) so I can watch what's going on. Scenery, too. But, you can't hear the alearter. US trains seldom have them anyways. And, of course, the HUD doesn't wanna work at times. Several times of late, the darn cars just don't feel like coupling! Usually clear blueprint cache, do a restart after a save.
