The "Collection" Screen

About half of the time when I start TS2013 there's nothing on the Collection screen except a title – LNER Black Flying Scotsman – and one empty rectangle. The other half of the time it's fully populated.

Does anyone else get this and has anyone got any ideas about a solution?

When i'm in Offline mode, only a few of my assets show up in the collection screen. When i'm online, they all show up.

I'm online all of the time but still get the almost-blank screen.

I posted a reply on the STEAM forums - I cycle through the menus even having to go to and from the community workshop scenarios and that sometimes works. I'll try the F5 key the next time it happems to see if that can refresh the screen.

You may have a slow connection to the Steam server.

When TS2013 opened with a blank Collections screen I left it for 5 minutes or so but nothing more appeared. I tried F5 but that didn't have any effect. When I pressed "Main Menu" and then "Collection" to go back, all of the content had reappeared on the Collection screen.

I suppose it's no big deal but could it be a timing problem in the way TS2013 now starts up, similar to the issue when it tries to restart too soon after clearing the cache?

UPDATE.

I have been corresponding with Railworks Support on this problem. After they insisted that the problem was with my Internet connection and I insisted that it wasn't, they pointed me to the following:

Having run all of the "additional" software installs from that document, my Collection screen is appearing complete first time, every time. (At least it has over the last couple of days.)
