Illinois Central 'City of New Orleans' E8 Repaint by Micheal Calvin.

I downloaded the Illinois Central City of New Orleans E8 yesterday. When I got to #6 step I went into my Railworks folder,Railworks\Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\E8\Default\Engine. I have a Problem, when I get to E8, and click on E8, there is supposed to be a Default/engine folder there. either one is there, So I have no way to Copy E8A-db-RW3.GeoPcDx' and the 'E8B-db-RW3.GeoPcDx' files to your desktop. So therefore I cannot copy them to 'Railworks\Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\E8\IC-E8\Engine\'.
9.Copy the 'E8A-db-RW3.GeoPcDx' and the 'E8B-db-RW3.GeoPcDx' files into the folder.

Is there anyway to fix this, so I will be able to run the Illinois Central 'City of New Orleans' E8

Do you mean to say neither one is there? Do you have the Britkit-SO4 pack? You need that.

It sounds as though you will need to reinstall the E8 and E8 extra pack. If you can't (or don't want to) get the payware Extra kit, the A units can still be used with the freeware.

I just loaded this and you have to put all four of the Geo files into the IC for it to show up. Or two if you only want the free one.

I downloaded just the E8 Basic. I have a E8ndb-rw3GeOPcDX file that came in the download, and a file called E8-Textures folder also with 4 files in the E8 textures folder. No readme has to where the 4 files inside the E8 textures go. Also where does that E8ndb-rw3GeOPcDX file go. I have the engine listed in the flyout, and I tried to place the loco on the track with the engineer, and save it. but after I saved it, the loco was not there.

You'll leave the texture folder as it is in the download. That's actually the paint for the IC, so no changes are needed.

The 'E8ndb-rw3GeOPcDX' needs to be copied to the \engine\ folder and renamed to 'E8A-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx'. Once that's done, it should work fine.

I looked again, when I downloaded and installed the basic S04 kit, I did not have the E8ndb-rw3GeOPcDX. I already had
E8A-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx in the download file. So I copied that file into the E8,IC-E8 Engine folder. I again treid to place the loco on the track. I was able to put in on the track, with the engineer and saved it again. But when I tried to run the loco, it was not there, and I did save it. So is there something wrong with the E8A-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx file in the download.

I do Not have a E8A.-db-RW3.GeoPcDx. I did get a E8A ndb-Rw3.GeoPcDx has a extra file.But not a E8A-db-RW3.Geo-PcDx.

The extra file is the E8A-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx, which is what was already in the e8 engine file when I downloaded it.
It was a separtate file, bbnnot in the E8 folder.

Yes unzip and paste it there.

Ok I unzipped it and placed it in the IC-e8 engine folder. Went into start RW, and placed the loco on the tracks and saved it, When the play screen came back up the locomotive was still not on the tracks after I saved it.
