Problems with Donner Pass

Unread postby 5292nate » Sun Feb 17, 2013 8:15 pm

Since the update to Donner Pass, (for which I am very grateful to RSC) I have noticed that the scaffolding part of the signals, is missing. Below are a few instances of this happening. Other things are also mysteriously floating, being up-held by thin air. Like to 20,000 gal. propane tanks! !**duh*!! Another thing that has been happening since the update, and also happened before, is that when I try and pick up passengers from the Reno station, nothing happens. Not when I press "T" or click the load button on the HUD. These problems are minor, but are a bit of a thorn in my side, and would like to have them corrected if possible. BTW Clearing the blueprint cache, does not fix the signal bridge issue. I have cleared the cache probably a couple hundred times since I got the update.

Thanks guys!

Try clearing the cache or verifying the game files if that does not work

I did already. Plus, RW has updated several times since the DP update.

What is your scenery density set at? Anything less than 10 causes quite a few assets to disappear on Donner Pass.

Solved! It was the scenery density. I had it set at 8. Thanks for that! Now, what about the picking up passengers problem? Has anybody ever encountered that before?

To pick up/drop off passengers press "T"

That doesn't work at Reno.

Which track are you trying to pick up passengers from? Only Reno Station 1 has a platform.

Should be 1 Platform Marker for you to pick up the passengers.

I was taking a break yesterday! Don't worry. I'm getting back to work on it today! I was attempting to pick up passengers at Reno station 2. I know there is no platform there, but there is a destination marker. The same thing happens at Rocklin. And that is on the platform track.
