Coupler slack fixed?

Just wondering, can anyone confirm that the coupler slack issue was fixed in the last update? Looks like it to me, but I haven't done a whole lot of testing.

Do you mean the rubber band couplers? i haven't tried it on a monster train yet, but the couplers seemed stiffer to me visually. Can anybody else confirm? I'll make a long train and see at some point. Maybe i won't need the britkit couplers any more although I like them better visually with their hoses. I'm gonna stick with them. *!greengrin!*

Well if it is, better late then never! I'll give RSC half kudos for it cuz britkits beat them by 2 years. Now I gotta see if using the britkit's couplers work or break anything in the updated code. I'd hate to see Papa's hoses go bye bye! *!sad!*

I'm still gonna use the Britkit ones. I think they look better too. The reason I noticed is that I'm playing around with speed activated slack sounds, and I used to be able to stand next to a train taking off and hear all the cars off into the distance collect slack one at a time as their speed passed 0.1mph, due to the fact RSC couplers were crap. I'm gonna miss that.

Actually I was wrong about the slack sounds. I just had to move further away from the train than I used to but it still works.

I noticed that the "rubber band couplers" are missing also. That's a big improvement. That was pretty unrealistic.
