Yet another spontaneous update without so much as a warning, let alone some info. Not impressed

Where?

@NDROFN: Routine maintenance, usually minor.
The last one I checked was for the Spanish manuals and some invisible fixes to british routes. Not worth an announcement.
You can check within Windows Explorer: select your Railworks folder, then search for files modified today.

I have enough trouble remembering that you Americans put the month before the day (which makes no sense by the way) let alone figure out what date it is over there *!lol!*

It was quite a big download. Still got no idea what it was. Nothing on RSC web page or FB !*don-know!*

Makes perfect sense to me, month / day / year. Why not put the year first? Why put the day first unless you are using the Julian date. But I guess it like the old saying, location, location, location, depends on where you are as to what makes sense. For me 4' 8 1/2" or 56.5" makes sense but in other parts of the world 1.4351 Meters would make sense. It's kind of like what Winston Churchill once said about the English and the USA, "We are two people separated by a common language" !*roll-laugh*! On a side note, just what part of the world do you call home?

I seem to have gotten a completely fresh download of the Munich Augsburg route, which alone is about 800 MB.

Yes, not only are you 16 hours ahead of us it's also a different season. No wonder we are so confused !**duh*!! !*roll-laugh*! Anyway back on topic, One part of the download screen listed 23 MB updated, but another section of the download screen listed 14.5 GB updated? Doing a search in Windows Explorer (Windows 7) lists some updates for the G-Trax Berk, the majority of the NCF files were updated along with manuals and different textures and it looks like route files have been updated. It would be nice if RSC would list someplace on their web page what files were updated with the listings being grouped by date.

So many people reporting Steam locking up on the RSC FB page. I can't complain... ripped through in about 10min, straight back into editor on my route without any hassles.

Spoke too soon. Thought I'd do a restart just to see if I get the same problems everyone else is... now there's a 227.5mb update downloading. Now I know why RSC don't announce their updates... it's so they can get their updates sorted out using me as a guinea pig THEN announce it to the rest of the world. You're welcome RSC, anytime !!*ok*!!

I've had Steam on all evening, and zip, nada, nothing. But I guess that's a good thing, from the angst and acrimony about this update over on UKTrainsim.
