RW_Tools

I'm trying to use RW_Tools. I've just installed version 4 and can't get the program to open properly. When I open it and click the 'Ok' button, it gives an error code citing that there is something missing. I'd prefer to not open it again, since I'm limited to 15 opens now. Anyone know what the issue is and how it may be resolved? I'm trying to get a route made, I just registered with ReDem.

I am not sure of your issue but I do have a suggestion, Pay the donation for the program because you will find that there are a lot of uses for it and if you are even moderately interested in building anything or doing anything other than just driving the trains (and even then) You will not regret buying that tool. I would never have stayed with the Simulator if I did not buy that program IMHO anyway.

Well, if I can get it to work and it does well, I will do just that. However, until I can, I have no clue of its usefulness.

Well, it's hard to say if we don't know what the error code says is missing. Have you tried downloading it again to make sure you got a full and uncorrupted d/l and then uninstall the current install and reinstall? It really is an excellent piece of software and I've never heard of anyone who couldn't get it to work, and I'm sure Mike will make sure it works for you.

Are you using Win7? If so you have to run as administrator. Than it should work.
