Donner Pass SD40T-2

Unread postby TerryM » Thu Jan 03, 2013 3:26 pm

Hi all, this is my first post on the site, so apologies if this particular subject has already been covered.
I have recently downloaded and installed the above pack by Michael Zimmer. I copied over the appropriate files, ticked the boxes in the scenario and placed the loco's to try them out. The models are great but no sound, the default loco is fine which leaves me a bit puzzled. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I just went and looked through my setup and if you copied both the cabview and the GeoPcDx into the files into all of them it should be working. I just loaded it up and our online friends haven't done anything to goof it up. It's working all right. Does the horn or bell work or nothing?

Just a guess here... Try ticking the RailSimulatorUS Entry under the Kuju Assets in the Scenario Object Selector Box in the righthand Flyout.

If you're not playing on Donner Pass you might need to check the Donner Pass assets as the repaints might reference some blueprints in there.

That is actually where they live.

Hello again
Thanks to all who posted, problem solved. I was under the impression that just ticking the Donner Pass flyout was all that was required, not realising that it referenced the US Kuju files.
I'll have to give them a run now and be able to listen to the engine as it climbs the pass.

Cheers

For a nice SD40-2 sound I recommend installing simer4's sound pack from the RWA library.
