Hello and Salutations, Everyone!
A while back, I downloaded a replacement whistle for the IHH challenger from TrainSim.com, and ever since my copy of TS:2012 got upgraded to 2013, the darn thing hasn't worked since (which is a shame, for it sounded just like the real deal and I loved it).

Now, when I pull on the whistle cord, there's silence instead of the resonant toot, although the steam effect still works, so what's up? I've since switched back to the default whistle, but I want my custom one back something awful...

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Reinstall the replacement.
With the upgrade, any modification to default files were reverted back to default.

I'm afraid I've already tried that a long time ago, and there's still silence. I'd love it if was that simple...

Anybody know the developer of the replacement whistle? I'd like to get a word in with him/her, for the pack probably needs to be updated for 2013...

Did you try these? They are new.

I got the same whistle from trainsim.com. It doesn't work because it's for the IHH Challenger and not the new RSC Challenger V2. Try these whistles viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7025.

Here's an update fellas,

Tried the 2.0 from here on RWA, and the result was the same, dead silence from the tooter, so I'm still with the default whistle for now.

I thought it'd work too, but apparently not...

Same thing here for me. I tried to install the remaining whistle files of b737lvr for the Big Boy and Challenger but they did not work. Most likely due to the purchase of both the Big Boy and Challenger was made for me from IHH and not RSC. Can anyone lead me to a tutorial and how to install sound files? I suspect the problem is that I don't have the correct path and also whether there are any dav file notations that have to be changed to wav files.
