AVS is a terrible AV program. This appears to be triggered by an "identity protector" module. Also, it doesn't seem to know what threat it is (no name) but gives it a level 4 threat level. Run a scan on your Railworks folder if you like. For freeware AV programs I can recommend Avira, but there are several others as good, and you won't get so many false positives.

I believe that to be AVG and I have never had it do that.

IMHO, AVG is crap. I never had so many false positives in my life. Then, a few weeks ago, I had to dump Avast!. Wouldn't let RW and some other games run. Now I just use MSE. It works fine. (Microsquirt Security Essentials) !!*ok*!!

That's weird. I'm running Avast and don't have any problems running RW. !*don-know!*

MSE is good enough for most users.
In case you need more, check the latest reviews on the Web.
I suggest BitDefender. Works well with RW, even has a "game mode" making it unobstrusive when I run RW.

It is amazing the different experiences people have with different anti-virus programs. We have been using AVG corporate at my work for years now and I have the payware version here at home. No viruses and no false positives. Only had one threat report in the last year and it was real.
Interesting.

Most A/V companies will issue an update as soon as they get a lot of complaints about a false positive, but I'm not too patient at times. *!!wink!!* I just switch companies. I also run Malwarebytes and CCleaner pretty much every day.
