Repaints not showing

Unread postby 5292nate » Thu Dec 27, 2012 3:31 pm

I have a problem. (What else is new?) Tried to do a repaint of Michael Zimmer's Tofc. I ticked the 9000ft assets in the world editor, and the RSDL assets, but it isn't showing up, in the asset list. Where are they? What did I do/not do?

Thanks

Nathan

You sure you're not looking for Great Northerer's cars?

I'm sure. I need to have the 9000ft assets and the RSDL assets ticked. I have both and they still don't appear in the list. I recent;y did a re-install of RW and lost almost everything I had acquried. That, fortunately, included the new TOFC's. I still have the assets off game, but not in game. I even re-installed them today. Still nothing.

Yeah. They have their own GEOPCDX files.

You say you have the new TOFC cars, the repaints are for the originals as far as I know.
Did you get them with the sd40-2w or the sd75?
The folder structure might be different.

I got them with the SD40-2W. Here are the trailers I downloaded. And Michael Zimmer's repaints.

What exactly is not showing up, your re-paints or MZ's?? Do you have Mike Simpson's RW Tools? If not, get it!!

Using RW Tools Asset Editor, navigate to the RSDL USWagons01 railVehicles freight FlatcarRTTX90

and list the contents. At the very least the default and 2 variants should be there. If the repaint package has installed properly, there will be a bunch more entries in the list.

Highlight any of the repaints and click the check loco for missing files. any missing files will be listed. If the missing file window is empty, then the re-paints should appear in the scenario Editor.

Repeat the above steps for the loads/trucks. ... in RW Tools Path is assets 90000ft New England Scenery Equipment.

Hope this helps
Brian

Both mine and MZ's are missing. In asset editor, it only shows, Default and Variants 1 and 2.

Chances are that the DLC was not installed properly.. The install instructions are below:

Your must be the Original Canadian National SD40-2 Wide Nose RailWorks Add-on from RSC (Steam) installed,

This can be found here:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/24052 ... uggest__13

or the old Flatcarset from Railsimulator installed.

Copy the Assets Folder to Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\

Copy the Flatcar_RTTX90.GeoPcDx , Flatcar_RTTX90_trucks_1.GeoPcDx and the Flatcar_RTTX90_trucks_2.GeoPcDx
from the Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\RSDL\USWagons01\RailVehicles\Freight\FlatcarRTTX90\Variant1 Folder
in all my Repaint Folders.

Thank you Brian, for your help and patience. I realized what I did wrong. I needed to install the repaints form MZ. I thought I already had done that. Once again. Thank you! !*salute*!
