I have all the crossings. Have you verified the game cache? Steam's servers are pretty taxed at the moment its likely a packet simply was lost along the way.

I seem to be missing a signal bridge at Colfax, and many grade crossings. I see milk bottles... (at least it's not dead people!) !*roll-laugh*!
Maybe I'll verify cache and try again.

If you are seeing milk bottles those are missing assets.

Yep! Verified cache last night and had more than 200 files reacquired. Seems to be a download problem, at least on this end.

The funny thing is that I have tons of 3rd party routes and assets and have NEVER seen milk bottles...

Trying again.

That was on my gaming desktop last night. Updated the laptop this morning and it's the same problem. No signal bridge at Colfax (although I see others before I get to Colfax from Sparks) and milk bottles at grade crossings and random ones along the track where there should probably be vegetation.
I think they maybe forgot to package a few assets.

Laptop just finished verifying cache, so here goes nothing! **!!bang!!**

I think you just don't have the whole D/L. Everything seems to be pretty complete here. I cycled in and out of RailWorks a bunch of times after I got home mid afternoon yesterday and every time it was giving me another small D/L. The main program was already there but I was working on something else. With the sales and Christmas right around the corner I think the servers are really loaded up.

I have to believe you're correct. I'll be patient, they frequently have a few glitches with new items.
Other than that, the route update is gorgeous! They did a really good job with the track grade transitions. Very smooth and gradual. Scenery is also very nicely done.

I'll keep trying!

Here's an interesting result:

Signal Bridge at Colfax.jpg

All I did was point Steam to the London server, the "mother ship" if you will...
Happy, happy, joy, joy! !*YAAA*! !!*ok*!! !*brav*!

The grade crossings are all in place as well, and apparently I was missing a TON of trackside vegetation. Looks completely different now. Much more betterer! !*salute*!

As always, your mileage may vary, but it worked for me!

Best,
Marc

Marc, I had that trouble in the past when somehow my video detail wasn't set at 10. I was missing signal gantries, even water tanks. Double check your video settings, this new update seems to have reset a bunch of stuff. Did for me anyways.

Thanks, Chris (sorry...) *!embar*! . Both my machines have detail set to 10. The desktop gamer has all settings at "Highest", the laptop has custom settings but they're both fine now. I have all my grade crossings, signal bridges, and no milk bottles. Just drove the "Director's Special" from Sparks to Truckee and it's abso-bloomin-lutely perfect.

Now I can re-download the RWA scenarios for Donner and run those on the new route.

Hope you have a happy and safe Holiday season.

Best,
Marc
!*cheers*!
