No horn or bell on the C40-8

Unread postby 5292nate » Tue Dec 11, 2012 6:19 pm

That's just it! No horn or bell will play on my C40-8! It's making me very MAD! The dash 9 is being a pain-in-the-ass too! I used to be ablr to make my own horn sounds, but they won't work anymore! When I press the horn or bell button, nothing plays! any suggestions?

Thanks

Nathan

Hold on, did you place the locomotive in the scenario by the editor or RW Tools? when you do that make sure when selecting the assets (fly out box on the right in the scenario editor) that has anthing to do with EYE12 select both boxes one is called seattle and I forget what the other box is called. I think the sound is aliased from another one of his assets. It will work then.

Thanks Glenn! I forgot about that! But still, what's up with the dash 9? I've tried some homemade bell and horn sounds in the Dash 9 and they don't play. Is there a way I can re-install the dash 9's without a total "verify integrity of game cache"?
