That's odd. Looks like it's getting textures from yard track mixed up with mainline. Does any other track of thesame type do it?

Oh great - don't tell me RSC updated alpha-sorting (shader scripts appear unchanged)? !**conf**!
Cheers!

If RSC changed anything that screwed up Scalerail, wouldn't it render Sherman Hill unsellable?

The track in SH is separate from the freeware and payware ScaleRail packs, that and the transparencies use the punch-through alphas instead of full (and why you may notice the moire pattern in the SH route).

Now I'm worried. If RSC make any changes that ruin Scalerail I'm calling it quits on my route. I've spent as much time lately fixing RSC things up to work properly as I have actually creating new stuff.

I'm still quite keen to figure it out. I hate it when there's a problem with RW with no apparent solution even when the symptoms aren't apparent because they always come out and and bit you in the *** just when you go to release your work.

The glow was caused by RW making two copies of the same object when used as a child of a loft. Not certain about the shadows, however.

I've got this problem now. Must've come through with today's update. Any further info on why this is happening? !*don-know!*

Just ran a Sherman Hill scenario. No track issues.

as far as shadows go, the lofts for the scaleroads bridges do not cast shadows in the sim, other loft bridges do i could probably do a fix and put a solid polygon hidden in the bridge for now

No problem here that I've found. Do you have a screen shot?

This just keeps getting weirder. I just went to take a screenshot, loaded RW, then clicked on a freeroam scenario on my route and it restarted my computer!!! No program except for an installation has ever restarted my computer, and even then, no before asking.

Ok, got in, now the track looks fine. Tell you what, if any program wants to shut my computer down randomly in order to fix itself, it's more than welcome to !!*ok*!! For the record, it looked excactly like the original screenshot in this thread. Transparent between the sleepers. Today has been a strange, strange day *!question!*

No game needs to restart your computer in order to fix itself. It's not installing a driver or anything system-level.
