I have both versions of the Big Boy and Challenger. The issue I have with both of these Addons is there is no steam emissions from the turbo generator, pop valves, injectors etc. On the BB no steam emissions from the whistle, however there is steam from the challenger whistle. On the V2 versions of both the cylinder cox do not function with no steam emissions. The original IHH versions work and have very weak emissions. All of my other steam Addons (Gtrax, Cab Forward) function perfectly.

When adding the BB to a new scenario, the tender when added has a challenger number which can be changed.... strange since the flyout box has entries for both Bb and challenger tenders.

I am beginning to believe that the problem is my somewhat low-end system. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

There is lots of steam coming off the top of these guys. The cylinder cocks do work with large amounts of steam. Good luck. Something is amiss.

Brian, only thing I can think of is, what your graphics setting is at? Should be 10. (the in game settings) Or you will lose a lot of stuff like signal gantries, water sand and coal towers, lots of stuff.

I don't have and am not gonna buy the "new" Big Boy and Challenger so I don't know how they perform.

Start up with cylinder cocks open.

Chris... I have all my settings for scenery/detail maxed.

I am perplexed to say the least. For the Big Boy both versions have no steam emissions at all. Both versions of the Challenger have steam emissions for the whistle. The IHH Challenger does have cylinder ** steam emissions, V2 does not. All of my other steam addons function perfectly which include the RSC Cab Forward, GTrax SP&S Northerns, SP Daylight 4-8-4s, and NKP Berkshires in addition to most of IHH UK Steam, and JT Pacifics. Oh, and a few of the Britlits steamers.

For the record I have verified the game cache file integrity and Clear the blueprint cache every time prior to starting TS2013 which increases the loading speed on my system.



Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem... Splash Screen from TS2013 startup show the IHH BB with no stean exhaust from the turbo generator.
