RWA Donation pack repaints

Unread postby Coaltrain1 » Sun Nov 18, 2012 6:46 am

I recently got the RWA Modern frieght, I have some repaints for the 100ton coal cars. Whenever I place the repaints into a scenerio and try to couple to them I get something bad has happened error. If I try to edit the scenerio, it won't let me remove the cars and I have to delete the scenerio. I did find a couple of cars that were invisable except for the couplers. Any ideas on how I might fix this.
All the RWA cars work fine only the repaints have issues.

Not all of the repaints were updated to RW3.

Then I think we should take them off until they are.

Those should be in the RW2 section not the TS2012.

I guess it's the special pack that I got, NW2 engine and rolling stock. I didn't see anywhere that indicates either TS2012 or TS2013. And Thanks for looking at this thread, I really know little about the inner workings and file structure of the sim.

Dan,
He's talking about the donation-ware package I believe. It doesn't say anything there about it being for RW2 or 2013.

OK, so the topic is that the repaints are causing the errors. Most of the repaints are available in the RW2. Only a few are available in the ts2012 area.

The geometry did change in the donation package between RW2 and RW3, so it is possible that the older repaints could cause problems. If you have the old donationware package you need the RW2 repaints, and the new package need RW3.
