It's likely that the asset block is selecting a high-poly miscellaneous object from the drop-down field. Does the sim crash when placing or adjusting?

Its happens when placing. Or when I double click on the ground to get the asset box to show up. !*hp*!

Hi
I just want to hijack this thread a little bit :D . Thanks for letting me.

I am still learning how to place objects. Is it possible to make a block using the asset block and then insert a block of tarmac in it. I tried everwhere to do this, but with no success.
If you place tarmac, then it is not a deffinite block. The edges are smoothed into the textures you laid it on.
Maybe I am doing it all wrong. I want to lay a square piece of tarmac and then place a gas station on it.

Thanks for your replies in advance

The only thing that comes to mind is that there's something in the list the AB doesn't like.

Check the asset quantity in the top right fly out window. I had a problem where the number was stupidly high and the first thing on the list was a forrest. Like Hack says if its a high poly item or in my case a Forrest with lots of smaller items there is just to many things for the computer to render and it will normally throw up a SBHH.
If the number is high like mine it can be a pain to change as the computer is working flat out.
Tarmac is a painted item so cannot be used with the block tool. There is pavement and concrete blocks available you can set in the ground to use.
