Hello All,

I was playing earlier to, saved, and then exited the game (Sherman Hill). I returned this evening about 1/2 hour ago, and started back up. I noticed that "Steam" was downloading something. Once starting the game, I encountered multiple problems. First, I could not "resume" my previous mission. Second, I tried just a standard mission, and all of the "pop up" blocks came up in German. Does anyone know how to solve this issue...or at least get back to English?

Same here. I also am having problems with micro stutter. Also having a problem with a jerky screen when looking around cab and zooming in and out. View out of the cab is very blurry, not crisp at all. What are any one else's settings on the graphics? Nothing I seem to do corrects it.

WCL6655 posted same language problem with Sherman, I haven't had time to try mine yet.

Fixed all my graphics problems. New compressor sounds on the ES44. Still cannot seem to speak German though.

LOL!! You guys crack me up! And I can't speak German either! I have checked all the settings...I thought it was just me! Let me know if you find a fix! Thanks!

Glad to know it is not just me.

No, over at mine as well.

Also, there are a lot of empty scenario folders in the route folder 36 of Sherman Hill.
Running a verify game integrity now but with a 40 GB folder it takes some time.
AFter two rounds of verification, no change!

Seems like the usual mess up of RSC vs. Valve in providing Steam with the right files at the right moment.

Wonder what has been broken this time and how long it will take to sort it out.

RW_Tools still cannot make sense of the Sherman Hill scenarios, many are listed as Eric: and Tom: because RW_Tools probably expects the tags in a different order or RSC didn't stick to its own specifications?

I hear ya! I ran a full file check, and was missing a few, however, that did not fix the German Language Problem. On my son's system, it was the same, however, the actual "Steam" program was also corrupted, and we had to install it is as well. He was missing over 241 files, but once replaced, he is still speaking German. I sent in a report to RS, and got a computer response back..... It seems that Serman Hill is the only one effected, Fraser and Cariboo, and Donner are in English.... Go figure, one of the newest, best running routes, and they go a "Break it".... This kind of reminds me of when the NEC came out, and they ruined it with "Cab sway and rain drops"....
