Scenerio creation - IHH Big Boys & Sherman Hill

Unread postby ozinoz » Mon Oct 01, 2012 10:26 pm

Just wondering if anybody else has struck trouble creating scenerios using the IHH Big Boy and the new Sherman Hill route?

I have tried repeatedly creating both Timetable and FreeRoam and after the unfixed issue of attaching cars to create the consist (why cant the program realise a car pushed together should be coupled and not embedded in each other, nor leap all over the track is beyond me, but a story for another time), when ever then try and run, get the old SBHH and it crashes, even though it will "run" in the F9 map view. (was also using GreatNorthener UP box cars etc)

Dont get a lot of time to myself to enjoy, am peeved about the 2 hours + wasted yesterday creating the one scenerio 6 times only to repeatedly have it fail...

!*cheers*!

I'm plugging along on one. I also had a a few problems, among them being using some Greatnortherener rolling stock. After inserting about 10 cars would get a SBHH. Solved the problem by creating the consist in a scenario on a route from TS2012, then saving the consist in the Saved Consists list. Then inserting the saved consist into my Sherman Hill scenario.

Cheers mate, thanks for the tip. I will give that a try and see if it makes a difference. Wouldnt be half as bad if there was an actual cause listed other than just SBHH

*!!thnx!!*
