nVidia AA issue with TSX

Hello! Long time reader, but first time poster.
I bought Train 2012 about a month ago and was perturbed to find that turning on AA on my 560Ti card with TSX turned on causes the screen to be become split into 4 identical screens as like multi-player. Only be turning off AA on the card and then using the AA and AF settings in Train causes the screen to work normally with TSX. But the visual quality looks pretty bad at least on my PC with FXAA+2x1 SSAA and 8X filtering turned on. The frame rates are not great either averaging around 15-25 fps with everything turned right up except shadow quality.
With 16xS AA and 16x AF turned on the 560Ti through nVidia Inspector and with TSX turned off, Train 2012 and 2013 looks fantastic with frame rates averaging over 50 fps.
I was hoping that the 2013 version would correct this issue, but it hasn't for me at least.
I read a couple of posts where people have/had the same issue with the split screens with TSX and nVidia. I assume that I'm still not the only one?
Many thanks for any and all replies.

I found that leaving NVIDIA controls at "application controlled", then in the RW in game settings for video, I just set it at high (no custom stuff) TSX on, no bloom or flora or fOV. Actually look better than TS1012.

I see that effect it is to do with the Antialiasing settings in NVI, clashing with TSX.
What I do is use the AA and other highest graphics settings in the NV Control Panel, (including Override the 3d application) and save. I then open NVI and NOW set it to Railworks.exe (Railworksproc32.exe is no more) and choose the " restore current profile to default NVidia settings from the top tab, (nVidia icon), making sure override the application is still set. I then set AA setting to 8xQ and Vertical Sync to Adaptive and Half the Refresh Rate - Save changes and now the 4 screens should have gone and you still get a pretty good picture. in TS2013 I choose basic graphics settings plus TSX as now the video card is doing all of the work. The GTX 560 can handle this with ease.
OR
I turn off TSX (this causes the 4/8 screens) Override any application setting, and choose the highest AA/AF settings in NVI including AA Transparency Supersampling 4 x Sparse Grid Supersampling - all the shimmering disappears with good frame rates but you don't get the rain effects or some of the lighting effects either but I can live without them for the quality images that I see. (in FSX I choose the 8xMSAA and Linear as the graphics settings).

Thanks to both for your comments!
Peter, I tried what you wrote and yes I found that I can use the nVidia AA settings with TSX as long as I don't choose any AA with supersampling in it. Like you wrote, 8xQ works and even 16xQ works. The picture is pretty good, but definitely not as good as using 16xS with TSX turned off.
I think I'll turn off TSX and go with the nVidia settings of 16xS AA and 16x AF along with 2x supersampling transparency AA. With those settings and all in-game graphic settings cranked right up, I get well over 50 fps and the game looks fantastic.

With out TSX you do not get shadows and lights and other things though.

I reconsider my settings after the last post by Bob about missing out on the lighting and other effects. After mucn experimenting, I have decided to turn on TSX with every graphic option set to the maximum or turned on. I set the Anti-Aliasing to FXAA+8xMSAA and the Texture Filtering to 8x.
My nVidia Inspector settings are set to:
AA is set to Enchance the Application with 32xCSAA Yes, I set it to Enhance the Application. It seems to help with the shimmers on my 560Ti.
Transparency Antialiasing is set to 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling Going to 4x SGSS results in a 10 fps loss.
AF is set to 16x
The result is pretty nice with still some shimmering and frame rates around 40-50 fps on the Cajon Pass. Going without TSX definitely looks nicer with 16xS AA through NVI, but missing out on the TSX effects like Bob mentioned is the thing.
Many thanks for your replies and help to everyone who posted.
