Locomotive Cab Glitch

Unread postby gowyo17 » Sun Sep 02, 2012 3:30 pm

Hello everyone,

I recently installed Michael Zimmer's Dash-9 Union Pacific repaints, and when I enter cab view I am presented with a bizarre graphical glitch on the window surfaces. I will include a couple of screenshots to illustrate the problem. I also have the same problem with the Amtrak Genesis "Bloody Nose" repaint. I followed the installation instructions in the packages, and copied all of the required cabview files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can't be for sure, but it looks like the TrainGlassWeatherEffects.fx shader has been improperly handled in the locomotive .Geo file.

I had the same result when using the TrainGlassWeatherEffects.fx shader without the two ACE files on the engine blueprint.

I think Pam Brooker posted about this, a topic called something like RW does Picasso. I'll try and find it. Or you can do a quick search.

Just contact Michael directly -- I'm sure that there's contact information in the readme file that came with your download.
