I want to build a special large cathedral of a vintage US church, but I would like to have the sound of distant pipe organ music coming from inside it.

Is this by anyways possible for in Railworks, to connect a special sound to an item???

IIRC, you have to add the sound as a separate region within the route editor.

You should have a look at the default objects that are currently emitting sounds, like the excavator and the boxcar loader.
