Hey all.
I uh.... have a little problem with the NS AND Route.
I am playing the Free Roam: Chattanooga scenario, and when I get to the first yard, I get the infamous SBHH error. I have already tried re-installing multiple times over and again, but to no avail. I was just wandering what causes the problem.

Hi, Noel. I just ran the scenario for almost 6 miles, up to the Brown section just past the southbound curve with no problems. When you say "got to the first yard" is that the one about one mile up from the start point?
There are so many possible causes of SBHH that it's almost impossible to recommend a fix if there even is one. You might check your graphics settings, both at the launch screen and in-game. Can you list your system specs so I can review them?

I select the train with the 2 UP ES44ACs, I run it up past the two bridges, and then it just freezes when I get to a certain point.
Also here are my specs:
Windows 7 Home Premuim
64-Bit Operating System
Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.00 GHz
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4200
RAM: 4.00 GB (3.75 GB Usable)

Hi, Noel. Yep, basically it's the only train you can select, then run forward.
How much RAM is present, and what OS are you using, 32 or 64-bit? Is the graphics card separate or built-in to the motherboard? What is your hard drive size and speed? I had an HP desktop with similar specs and the ATI Radeon HD4200 was on the motherboard, not a separate card. If this is the case, you might benefit from a graphics card upgrade.
I know this is a lot of info but the more you can tell me about the machine the more I may be able to help.

When I had only 4GB RAM I never could load (or could load but play just for a while) scenarios in heavy routes like WCML or NSAND. Sometimes you can start the scenario but soon you will be out of memory, that's when SBHH comes. If you have a gadget to monitor RAM usage check when you are going down to less then 800MB, that's close to SBHH.

I've got the same problem at the same location.

8 GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
nVidia 460 graphics card

I just re-installed it and it started working! Thanks for the support guys!

Still can't find the Dalton Deliveries scenario. I wish someone would either find me a link or send it to me.

Hi, Jay. If you have the NS-AND route, Dalton Delivery, Part 1 is included:



It needs a little work, though. In timetable view you need to insert a "Stop at" instruction before the Final Destination instruction, otherwise you will not be able to complete the scenario. Are you familiar with editing scenarios?

Oops! I have a small update to the route that has been on the back burner for a couple of months. I will insert the needed instruction and re-release the scenario with it.

BTW, some of the SBHH' s you described sound like the corrupted terrain texture files that were present in the V3 release. If the V3 patch is applied, those should have gone away.

Or mine. I do have Part 2.

I'm pretty P.O.ed right now. I just checked the scenarios for the NSAND, and all of them that contained the Dash 9, including Dalton Delivery, are now non-functional, even though I have the D9 back in the game after the update. Fixes for the broken scenarios will be forthcoming. As well as one more nasty post on Farcebook and an even nastier E-mail to RSC support.

uh oh, I better check mine.
Edit: My Dalton Delivery scenario works fine
