Peculiar Error, requesting assistance

Greetings!

I am having a strange error pop up when I attempt to run Railworks. The first window says as follows;

ERROR: Unknown version of serialized binary file
FILE: D:\build\CoreRelease\Code\Libs\Foundation\API\core/cFxException.h
LINE:113

Then, another window pops up with this;

The Window Title says "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libr..."
Runtime Error!
Program: c/programfile...
R6025
pure virtual function call

After these two windows pop up, the "Railworks.proc has stopped working" window pops up.

It might as well be speaking Mandarin to me! Any assistance/advice would be appreciated.

Search this forum. I've seen that issue before, but don't remember the solution.

If you look in your railworks file,there is a file named install.There are several files,and one of them is for Mircosoft visual c++ 2010.That should do the trick.

Thank you both. It turns out that I tried creating my own route template through RWTools, and when I searched for the created files and deleted them, the problem went away, and Railworks ran just fine. I guess I'll have to wrestle with that.

Thanks again for the replies!
